DESCRIPTION:Everyday Stories will be on display in Filmbase from Nov 6 – 9\, 2017. Come join us for our launch coffee morning at 10:30am on Tuesday\, Nov 7. \nThe exhibition comprises of stories from eight Irish women impacted by the 8th Amendment\, illustrated by Irish artists.\nThe website www.EverydayStories.org will launch in tandem. \nActresses Karen Kelly\, Fiona O’ Connor and Rita Evelyn Smith will read a selection of stories at 10:45am. \nThere will be a evening event later that same day at 6:30pm. All are welcome. \nIreland is a nation of story tellers\, from Seanchaí to “C’mere till I tell ya.” Every day the impacts of the 8th Amendment are experienced in the most personal and intimate ways imaginable. Through this project we reveal the humanity of complex lives\, considered decisions and difficult journeys.
